For the first time, the main sights of St. Petersburg and its suburbs are collected in one place, where they may be admired in any weather and the fountains are operational in all seasons. Welcome to the Petrovskaya Akvatoria, the first large historical scale model in Russia (scale of 1 to 87,500 square meters). The permanent exhibition represents the reconstruction of the most significant sights of St. Petersburg and its suburbs, related to the city and the origin of the Russian fleet, from Peter the Great’s till Catherine the Great’s era, recreated according to engravings and archive sources. It is the only place where you can see what St. Petersburg and the main imperial residences looked like three centuries ago and what was located in the place of today's famous buildings and architectural complexes.
