The restaurant on Zayachy Island located in the oldest part of the city - the Peter and Paul Fortress. The location affords great views of landmarks across the river, including the Winter Palace, and the restaurant makes the most of this fact, with lots of windows and terraces, giving the place a spacious feel. The menu offers classic European and Georgian dishes. You should definitely try koryushka - lightly battered and fried smelt. It is a city's speciality every April, but here you can eat this small fish year-round. This place is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the view after visiting this historic area of the city.

We had a visit last weekend. Marvelous location – right in the city-center and, at the same time, in an isolated historical place with an outstanding view. Middle prices and a wide menu. Beat fish-soup and a watermelon salad! From deserts I highly recommend a coconut trio. However, service was a bit slow, but we were not in a hurry, so had a very good and tasty lunch.

I went here with my mother and her friend who were visiting. Beautiful location on the shores near Peter & Paul fortress, huge windows and nice food. Interesting Russians dining here, a little bit a place to see and be seen I guess. We loved the starters and the baked salmon in foil was great as well.
