The man behind the brand is, as you may have guessed, Ianis Chamalidy. Mr. Chamalidy (born in 1976) is a graduate of the Mukhina Academy Art and Industry Academy in St. Petersburg. At the tender age of 17, the young man presented his very first collection; by 1997 he opened his own fashion house in Moscow that catered to Russia’s cultural elite; in 1998, Isabella Blow, one of the fashion world’s most talented visionaries applauded the designer’s work at length in the Sunday Times. During its existence, the brand has also been presented at the fashion weeks in Milan, Paris, Moscow and Tokyo.
