For a one-stop shop of all your favourite Easter treats, head to Sandton City's Chocolate Café from Wed, Mar 20 –Mon, Apr 1. Geldhof Chocolates has everything from giant bunnies to delicious eggs (and a "No Sugar" range), and Beyers Chocolates have some delicious mini eggs in interesting flavours including raspberry caramel and crème brûlée. Local is indeed really very lekker.

Around the world deliciousness

Be sure not to miss the famous Italian Easter cake, the "Colomba", available at Fournos, and pop into The Black Forest Bakery for the best hot cross buns and other German delights. Krispy Kreme's Easter doughnuts include caramel kreme and cookies carrot, the lemon kreme diving duck, and the speckled egg choc iced custard this year.
