After Pokonji dol the seaside path gets rougher, but it's well worth carrying on for another 15-20minutes if you want to chance upon one of Hvar's wildest and desolate beaches, a combination of jagged bare rock and pebbly cove that has a secluded, desert-island appeal. Not surprisingly it is also known as "Robinson". There is a beach-side restaurant, and an entertainingly ramshackle beach bar made up of salvaged bits and pieces. Served by taxi boats from Hvar harbour.
