A refit of the former shipyard office building next to the famous Gate #2 of the Gdansk (former Lenin) Shipyard has seen the commie-era memorabilia hit the skip to be replaced by a clean, somewhat boring look. But looks can be deceptive and it’s in the blacked out, back room where you’ll want be if you’re into live music featuring electric guitars and ramped out speakers. It’s not big which just adds to the atmosphere and rocking next to one of the 20th century’s most iconic locations can’t be a bad thing.
