Brzezno Pier

The current pier in Brzezno only dates back to the 1990s although there was a pier here much earlier than that. The first built around the turn of the century eventually reached 250m in length but suffered severe damage during WWII and its remains were eventually pulled down in 1962.

The new pier was built about a kilometre north of the old one and is now the heart of Gdansk's northern beach life in summer with lots of activities and businesses located on or around it.
