Although the cynical among us could view this museum located in the original Philips factory from 1891 as pure company propaganda, we actually believe that this modern museum gives an interesting overview of this multinational giant that, until recently, played such a crucial role in Eindhoven's history. Follow the evolution of the company from the creation of its first light bulb to the invention of famous household appliances that we couldn't live without. Play Mission Eureka on an iPad, an innovative group game that details a century of Philips' inventions, or take an iPad tour that affords visitors insights into the harsh working conditions faced by factory employees in former days, but don't forget to take a selfie upstairs with the vintage boom box playing hits from the 1980s. It's also interesting to see what medical technology Philips has created to prolong our lives. To mark the 125th anniversary of the company, an interactive exhibition entitled the Innovation and You Experience is now available, which explains the role that modern technology will play in all our futures.
