With a name like Amon, you wouldn't be wrong for thinking that Egyptians run this place. Although a mighty God in ancient times, today Amon is one of the biggest lunchrooms in Eindhoven. Conveniently located next to one of the city's most recognisable landmarks, St. Catharina Church, this giant eetcafe was recently renovated from top to bottom. Order traditional Dutch snacks or opt for one of the Middle Eastern meals like falafel, lahmacub (Turkish pizza) and kebabs. Vegetarians will also find plenty to tempt their tummies.
