To describe Berlage is like trying to explain what a chameleon looks like. It all depends on the time of day, the occasion, the season of the year and so on. What we can tell you is that Berlage has been a local favourite since it opened in 1986. Seniors come here for coffee and the morning newspaper and daytime shoppers take a break here for healthy lunches. The business set drop by after work for drinks in a casual atmosphere, while nearly everyone of all genders and ages keep coming back to enjoy the most spacious public garden in Eindhoven. Finally, 30- and 40-somethings go completely wild on the improvised dance floor each weekend. We happened to stop by for dinner and have to admit that the XL burgers and the vegetarian lasagna are hard to beat.
