Tier is another operator of electric scooters found throughout Zurich. Simply download its app and register your phone number and credit card and then its map will show you where the next green Tier scooter is located. You can unlock it by scanning the QR-code on the scooter. Unlocking costs 1Sfr, then it's 0.35Sfr per minute. The scooters are easy to use and definitely fun to ride. Just use your right thumb to accelerate and brake with your other hand or by pressing on the fender on the back of the scooter with your foot. Wearing a helmet is recommended and you're obliged to ride the street. Using sidewalks is prohibited. When you're done, park it (without blocking sidewalks) and finish the ride in the app.
