Set behind high walls, this beautiful 320-year-old Ottoman-style house was the home of Pashko Vasa (1825-1892), an Albanian patriot who helped organise the League of Prizren, using this house as their local base, later a consul in Aleppo and Beirut. The supposedly protected house has been neglected by the state and is in need of repairs, but still offers simple lodging in the fabulous traditional rooms with carved wooden ceilings, creaky wooden floors and antique furniture. Located close to the city centre yet very peaceful, the wonderful porch and lush garden are perfect for relaxing.
