Next to Zogaj's lovely lakeside mosque, the Balani sits by the pebbles of the lakeshore, and offers excellent traditional cuisine backed by impressive views of the mountains across the lake. Fish is the main ingredient of course, with baked or grilled lake eel a good recommendation, as well as pasta and risotto meals. It's very possible that you won't want to leave - so Balani has a few rooms for rent next door.
