On the road between Ohrid and Lake Prespa is the small town of Resen, famed for the apples and oranges that grow in the area and home to a couple of unusual museums. Parts of the Ottoman-era Old Bazaar remain intact, and the large square in the centre features on or two decent restaurants. Relatively peaceful throughout the year, a couple of hours in Resen is 120 minutes well spent.
