The impressive former Neoclassic home of Ahmed Niyazi Bey (1873-1913) now plays host to the town’s miscellaneous cultural activities and is among other things home to the so-called Modern Art Museum, given over entirely to a display of ceramic artworks made at Resen’s annual international ceramics colony. It’s pot luck whether you’ll find anybody there, but the door to the main building’s usually open, and it’s worth having a look around inside. Also inside the building is a small gallery containing a collection of paintings by Keraca Visulčeva (1911-2004), although just like everything else here there’s no formal open hours.
Open
Open hours erratic.
