This exhibit will present themes of vitality, postnatural scenery and evolution found in the work of the leading European artists of the first half of the 20th century, among them László Moholy-Nagy, Hans Arp, Max Ernst and Franz Marc. The exhibit will show how natural science influenced avant-garde art in the interwar period while posing questions about culture and nature.
