Polish postwar and contemporary artist, Jan Kucz is the creator behind some of the country's most beautul, dark, moving sculptures. Now, this work is on display at the Museum of Art in Łódż.

You may have seen his work already - like the expressive sculpture, Head with a Golden Tooth, which oozes poetry and emotion, and represents greed and placing too much importance on material values. This is just one example of Kucz's many works, all of which are imbued with layers upon layers of meaning.

"Kucz conducted an argument with life; and sometimes with God. He spoke through art. This was his podium. He was a commentator on reality," professor and Polish sculptor Andrzej Szarek wrote about Kucz. See the genius for yourself through early (very early) October at the museum.
