Going with a name like Platinum is all fine and well but you've got to follow it up with intent and that's something that this trendy venue does pretty well. With a few shimmering salons to explore and one main dancefloor brimming with hormones, it's a popular one with wealthy barflies and posing dance-aholics of all ages, not to mention the odd local celebrity. Creme de la creme might be taking it too far but it is up there and, given the rep, dress code is strictly enforced so get it right or be sorely disappointed.
