You are probably familiar with Sthandiwe Kgoroge as an actress who has appeared in some of South Africa's most well-known TV series, from Generations to Yizo Yizo, and most recently the incredible Shaka Ilembe, in which she plays Queen Mthaniya. 

When she is not acting in front of the camera, Kgoroge is the queen of vintage. She has an almost unparalleled love of clothing and an incredible eye for unique pieces that are truly vintage. Poetry Museum opened at 44 Stanley in July 2024 as a two-month pop-up and is a brilliant addition to Joburg's vintage clothing scene. Kgoroge constantly replenishes the rails here with covetable pieces, that include jackets and suits, 1950s dresses, and a fabulous collection of shoes. Kgoroge and her team are also brilliant at knowing what will look good on you. Say, "Hi" from us if she is in the store.
