Located a 30-minute walk from Hvar (or a lovely bike ride) along the east-bound coastal path, Pokonji dol comprises a broad swathe of shingle backed by the straw parasols of a popular beach bar. The water is clear and shallow, and there's a wonderful view of Pokonji dol lighthouse, rising up gracefully from an offshore rock.
