For decades Gdansk most popular and famous ice cream parlour was a little place called Miś (Teddy Bear). In 2015 the long-term owner sadly died and the place closed down. It re-opened in 2016 now run by a member of the late owner's family but long-term customers were not happy. The ice cream was just not the same. Then this place opened. Now we're not claiming this has anything at all to do with Miś, but the ice cream reminds us of how we remember the ice cream in Miś tasting. The name of this place translates as 'Familiar Tastes' and the ladies serving are also familiar and it has become our favourite ice cream stop in the city. With increased competition you have other options these days but nostalgia is a wonderful thing and we think you'll love the homemade ice cream, made it's claimed, to an old family recipe.
