Middle Ages is a historical period full of contradictions. On the one hand Templar Knights, Inquisition and Plague, on the other - knight's honor code, philosophy and states' formation. The objects at the exhibition illustrate the great range of Medieval Art from the Christian beginnings of the fourth to sixth centuries through the late Gothic period. Wooden and alabaster sculptures, textiles and liturgical garments will be among the unique objects on display. Visitors will also have a chance to see Late Gothic furniture built in the Northern European style. The exhibition is a stroll through the history of the Middle Ages, its cultural traditions and religious beliefs.
