A tiny cafe/bar found in the same street (though not the same building) where German philosopher Artur Schopenhauer was born in 1788. The bar is tiny and a darn-sight more cheerful than its namesake, thanks to a young staff and a range of local craft beer from Browar Kaszubski in Bytów. There's also a choice of breakfast, bagels and waffles which are not bad. For those that care, Schopenhauer, whose most famous quote 'The world is my representation' lights up one wall, was actually born where 45/47 stands today. Seasoned Gdansk visitors might remember the 'Pub Duszek' mentioned in this venture's name. There's no connection to the current owners but they've included a reference to the former tenants nonetheless.
