When hungry in the Tri-city fresh fish should be the first thing to mind, and this budget eatery nestled between the elegant options of Gdańsk’s Old Town waterfront fills a much-needed niche. Just a cut above your average fish-and-chips shop, enjoy a range of Baltic breeds, breaded and fried, as well as a regular menu of soups and herrings. Fast and greasy, you can eat better elsewhere to be assured, but the large portions, casual atmosphere and riverside patio make this place a tourist magnet and refreshing departure from the more upmarket options alongside it. Near the new pedestrian drawbridge, as far as beer gardens on the Motława go, they don’t get much better than this one in terms of views.

I quite liked this place for its beachside fish bar atmosphere, but it should be noted that the food is probably a 3 out of 5 and the cost isn''t that much cheaper than elsewhere (about 30-35zł for entree and a beer). So I''m not sure that it''s necessarily a better value than spending 10-15zł more for a better meal elsewhere. For our family of five it made sense, but for a couple I''d say go for the better meal somewhere nearby.
