Created by the same forces behind the award-winning Hotel Sadova in east-central Gdańsk, Papieroovka Cider Garden is a restaurant that has strayed from convention. Although the name, an alternate spelling of the word 'Papierówka' (English: White-Transparent Apple), is very Polish, the phenomenal interior design is anything but. It has drawn inspiration from the tropical plantations houses and market districts of south-east Asia and furnished them within a modern glassed-patio extension to its host-building. The menu is just as creative, presenting a synthesis of traditional regional cuisine and the culinary originality of their high-calibre chefs. Fresh seasonal ingredients are used as a colour palette from which some incredible designs and food arrangements are made. The menu is complemented with a choice of more than 30 different ciders, which seem ideal in such amazing surrounds.
