As well as being the social hub for the small Jewish community of about 90 members, this is the only place in the Tri-city where Jewish services are held, always at 09:30; call the number provided if you would like to participate. The community is responsible for the synagogue and Jewish Cemetery in Chełm with plans to take over the running of the Sopot Jewish Cemetery in the future. There is a small but very interesting exhibition on the ground floor telling the story of the Jewish community in Gdańsk pre-WWII and their elimination, including the story of the Kindertransport children who managed to flee the city in the late spring and early summer of 1939.
