This annual week-long classical music festival in Gdańsk, inspired by everyone's favourite Wolfgang, features outstanding Polish and foreign artists outdoors on the grounds of Oliwa Park, within the acoustically-divine Oliwa Cathedral, and inside the historic interiors of Artus Court. Although primarily consisting of classical performances of symphonic and chamber works, as well as concerts of opera music, the festival's diversity also includes concerts of jazz, ethnic music and folk music inspired by the works of Mozart.

Beginning on August 21, the first three days of the festival offer the opportunity to hear Mozart's music in the intimate setting of Artus court, before the official inaugural concert in Oliwa Park on Aug. 24th, featuring a performance by the Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra 'AMADEUS,' followed by a musical journey back to 1770 Italy performed by Nando Citarellaon. The schedule in Oliwa Park includes several concerts for kids and families, before the final concert by the Polish Chamber Choir 'Akamus' on Aug. 27th. Full programme details online.
