In addition to the Günter Grass tour, and the various sights we’ve listed, one complete oddity to view can be found up the hill in the forest just across from Jaśowa Dolina 27. Known as the Gutenberg monument it was erected on June 22, 1890, to celebrate the 450th anniversary of his defining invention: the printing press. Typical of 19th century monuments it doesn’t lack eerie charm and fans of Günter Grass will recognise it from the novel Dog Years. Take the main forest path that you'll find at the end of ul. Stanisława Pawłowskiego and it's a 2-minute walk.
