The 1960s-70s were an empowering time for women around the world. A push for equality spanned countries all over the world. Non was more prominent than the flower power 60s and disco 70s in the United States. Countless movies, books, and historical references look at the feminist movement that had helped change the direction the role women had in the daily life. Jaqueline Livingston captured the movement in ways that we still investigate today. Over 40 of her works will be on display at the National Museum in Gdańsk.
