Whilst many in the know may assume that this place is named after the Gdańskian author, the truth is you couldn't be more off the mark. This sports pub on the edge of the old town area of Gdańsk puts itself forward as an Irish pub, with Guinness on tap and marketing to passers-by as a place to party hard. Additionally, it has a restaurant that serves international cuisine, and when there's a major football game being broadcast, you can usually find it here on the big screen. If you're worried about having to deal with Polish speakers in Gdańsk (you shouldn't, but anyways) the staff here are much more international, and you are guaranteed to find someone who speaks English. The pleasantly green interior makes it a nice place to have a meal during the day, whilst at night you will have plenty of other distractions!
