At the far north-western boundaries of Eindhoven lies Brainport Park, which was once known as Landelijk Strijp in a former life. It’s actually a huge collection of fields, forests, parks and industrial areas and the city's airport is also considered a part of this vast property that is divided into smaller parcels by the A2 highway, a rail line and the Beatrix Canal. Get yourself a proper map of the terrain at the tourist information centre and cycle or stroll through this immense green space, which is also home to PSV Eindhoven's picturesque training complex.
