So much more than a pub this place is a genuine bistro which offers great food alongside a wide selection of first class booze. Serves both Guinness and Kilkenny on draught, as well as no fewer than six single malts. The food menu is extensive and features a few British dishes (both the chicken and the beef pies are well worth trying, as is the fish and chips) alongside pizza, pasta, salads and a decent range of fresh fish. Best of all though we think are the sweet and sour ribs, and the mixed grill is one almighty plate of food only for the seriously hungry. The courtyard is one of the coolest, shadiest places in town on a hot day.
