If you’re looking for a really cool and unique Christmas gift or you just want to buy something different from the regular store-bought brands, the 14th edition of Made in RO is the perfect opportunity to find the most authentic Romanian design products all in one single place!
For seven years now, the design fair Made in RO created by the editorial platform designist.com has been supporting Romanian designers by bringing the best and the most interesting of their products together over the course of one weekend twice a year.
This fall edition will bring back the same good old sections, starting with its headliners: object design, illustration, furniture, home & decor accessories, jewelry, ceramics, light fixtures, toys, textiles and more. In the Fashion section, you’ll find the most popular creators from the field of Romanian fashion design, while the Food section will show you how Romanian food brands can “cook” a good story though more than just taste, but also with their branding, design and presentation.
Kids can have fun and learn at this event, as Made in Ro has planned for them six creative workshops with themes such as design, architecture, fashion, creative recycling, animation, storytelling and even making kaleidoscopes! The tickets for these workshops are bought exclusively online, so make sure to get them ahead of time.
There will also be a pop-up coffee shop concentrated on taste authenticity where you’ll find funky coffee, food and all kinds of goodies.
This edition, ROOM 2.0 is becoming the Crowdfounding Room, a place where ten projects coming fresh out of Startarium's "Entrepreneurs' City" will get the spotlight and a chance at meeting their potential customers.
As per usual, every edition of Made in Ro is hosted in a different place, so this year’s edition will be held at Impact Hub, a modern co-working space down at Timpuri Noi Square, on the 23rd and 24th of November from 11 am to 8 pm. The entrance ticket is 10 lei (cash only) and kids under 12 have free access to the fair.
