Once a month Buurthuis Oudwijk changes (14:00-17:00 hours) into the Repair Cafe Utrecht, where you van bring your old toaster, coffee machine or whatever (mainly electronical) item needs to be fixed. A club of volunteers, mainly old skilled workers, will do their best to repair whatever they can. The idea behind this project is that our society needs to reduce its 'throw-away mentality'.
