This small market is situated just a few steps from Bahnhofstrasse. The real attraction here is the singing Christmas tree: every day at 17:30 and 18:30 (Sat & Sun also at 14:30 and 15:30, Sat 20:00 piano concert) choirs sing carols - on a vertical stage that looks like a Christmas tree. With their red hats on, the singers are the decorations on the tree. Singing Christmas baubles - we've never seen anything quite like it. And yes, there is glühwein, food stalls and a fondue hut too.
