This is one of the most amazing parks we've seen. It's basically a modern take on an ancient concept: a multi-story metal rectangle covered in plants which you can explore on a number of levels. The main hall also boasts four huge chalice-like fountains that also happen to be enveloped with florae. There are several stairways to choose from, so you can actually climb to the upper floors of the structure and walk on different paths that often lead to unexpected views. Naturally, the leaves change colour with the seasons, so you can visit throughout the year and always see something new. At the very top, many metres above ground, you'll find a sun deck where you can rest and take in the view of Zurich's northern end. This unique complex has the same proportions as the adjoining former industrial hall and has been successfully integrated into this district in Zurich Nord. A real gem! The fastest way to get there from the centre is by S-train to Oerlikon (five minutes).
