A restaurant since 1928, the Krokodil now serves what you might call a modern take on Swiss food. The chicken wings cowboy-style (chuebueb) come with blue cheese dip, the hacktätschli (veal patties) with a Dijon mustard sauce. The Krokodil burger (a burger on the menu seems to be a must these days) boasts a guacamole sauce. As a side we recommend Älpler-Fritä, alpine-style fries, garnished with onions, alpine herbs and cheese - definitely more interesting than just fries. They also do solid meat and flammchuechä, an Alsacian-style pizza - all in the pleasantly improvised atmosphere of a one-time workers’ tavern.
