You'll hardly come across this small district tavern by chance - but if some solid traditional Swiss food and olden-style local charm is what you’re after, it’s worth heading for the Köchlistube. The cordon bleu (pork) here is tender, tasty and huge - the same can be said about the fillets of beef and foal. The guests here are mostly locals from the district, some come just to drink beer and play cards - jassen. Which is much appreciated by the owners. They do a famed chocolate cake - and try the coffee Köchli. There's some rocket fuel in there!
