While many bars claim to have a living room-style atmosphere, Kasheme actually does look and feel like a living room. One owned by a music enthusiast that is. Vinyl records, musical instruments, sofas with colourful pillows and a huge tentacle like lamp festooned with a dozen or so old school shades create a genuinely cosy atmosphere here. From Wednesday to Saturday you can not only listen to DJs and musicians playing records, but also other personalities who play what they listen to at home at so-called listening sessions. Sometimes live acts perform and there's actually a small dance floor in the studio in the basement. It's also a vinyl record store until 19:00 offering a well-curated selection of records. You see, music really is king here, but don't worry as the bar is also well-curated.
