Blue walls, a black ceiling and brown leather seats make the Hotel Bar an intimate setting for a cocktail or a tasty brew. The interior is only illuminated by oversized bedside lamps in the corners and candles on the tables, so you're guaranteed a dimly-lit locale for a private conversation. Proper service is also available, so there's no need to queue up at the bar as is the case at so many other establishments in Zurich. The Moscow Mule we had was expertly poured and the beers from Zurich's own Faber craft brewery are definitely beyond the everyday lagers found at typical bars throughout the city. Despite its name, Hotel Bar is actually only a bar and doesn't offer accommodation, so make sure you're still able to make it home after your last drink. Often DJs on Saturdays.
