Architect and artist Bruno Weber’s (1931 - 2011) passion were huge concrete sculptures: from 1962 onwards he worked constantly on his quirky sculpture garden around his home in Dietikon, just outside Zurich. The park features countless of his contemplative sculptures - mythical creatures, animal-like beings, mostly colourful and some of them even inhabitable. The highlights are a water garden with a winged dog more than 100 metres long and Weber’s fairytale castle like home - definitely a memorable experience. Get to Dietikon with the S3 or S9 train (duration 14 min). From there follow the sculpture path, there are signs or just follow the sculptures (30 minutes). You can also take Bus 306 to terminus (Stadthalle), from there follow the sculptures for some minutes.
