The plain concrete walls and ceiling give this small café an industrial ambience but the wooden bar and the low hanging light bulbs add the requisite cosy touch. Bros Beans & Beats serves excellent coffee using a blend from local roaster Henauer and it also has some filter coffee on offer, which, thanks to some sophisticated technology, seems to be hip again these days. For food there are freshly prepared open-faced sandwiches and other small treats as well as breakfast and a lunch special. The in-crowd of the district also drops by for beers and drinks in the evening – and so do we.
