Bederhof is a pleasant neighbourhood restaurant with a rustic flair not too far from the Sihlcity shopping mall. For lunch you can always get an affordable meal served from the wagon – we had a tender piece of chicken with a mix of potatoes and vegetables. The Caesar salad was also quite good as the chicken breast was fried to perfection and the bacon on top was crispy, but not overdone, just the way we like it. Swiss and local Zurich classics such as Geschnetzeltes with Rösti (bite-sized veal pieces and hash browns) and Cordon Bleu can also be ordered à la carte.
