Bachmann, Lucerne's No.1 confectioner,  has just opened a new temple to chocolate on Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse this past December. On the ground floor you'll find bread, pastries, sandwiches and the like, but on the second floor the Chocolate World features an amazing flowing wall of chocolate (2,000 litres to be precise!). Chocolate even runs underneath the glass stairway leading upstairs where you can choose a variety of fresh Bachmann chocolate bars as well as chocolate truffles. Simply pay by weight or by piece. A whole assortment of Lindt chocolates is also available and a café is set to open this spring.
