As part of the Zagreb Districts Cycle which traces back to how some of the city’s main districts have developed over time, ‘Trnje’ (pronounced as Tr-nye) follows ‘Trešnjevka’ (pronounced as Tresh-nyev-ka) and we get a chance at comparing the two. The history of Trnje will be presented through photos from the Zagreb City Museum collections, other institutions and from locals. An important part of the exhibition will also feature numerous testimonies by Trnje inhabitants.
