An izakaya is an informal Japanese eatery serving alcoholic drinks and small bites, so we can only hope that the delightful Silk Izakaya is the first of many to come to the capital. The dishes are exquisite, from the spectacular sea bass ceviche to the thrilling octopus carpaccio, and the passion involved is clear in every bite. The whole thing is dripping in quality. They say nothing feels as good as Silk tastes, and we see no reason to disagree.
