Marina Mesar, known under the pseudonym OKO, is a multidisciplinary artist, who in her works depicts surreal scenes and fantastical figures while combining various human, animal and fantasy elements. She expresses herself mostly through paintings, drawings, illustrations, murals and through public interventions. Within her art, she aims to explore the themes of identity, memories and mythology. In her latest exhibition "Dear Diary...Layers of Dreams", OKO will present a vivid life experience and retrospective of childhood through a combination of photographs and hand-made rag dolls. This unique experience will be open to visitors from September 27 - November 9 in the Trotoar Gallery, Zagreb.
