Crossing the Sloboda Bridge across the Sava River to Novi Zagreb, along the river embankment, there is Lake Bundek, surrounded by greenery, with beautiful separate parks: one for young children (up to 6 years old) and the other one for older ones with the most attractive facilities in Zagreb. There are also roller skating trails, pony rides, two cafes with terraces overlooking the pebbled beaches of the lake where some take a swim in the summer (it is not forbidden but there is an organized rescue service).
