A brilliant venue for anyone who believes a pub should be a casual place with a social atmosphere, where friends can gather to catch the match, drink good, affordable beer and have a solid feed. Okocim Grill & Bar looks the part, with a traditional pub interior of exposed brick, green booths and dark wood finishing, set over two levels, including a VIP room and seasonal patio. First and foremost a sports bar, there's not a seat in the house (or outside) without a decent view of the match thanks to countless teles and three projectors, mostly streaming football (the Euro kind), ski jumping (hey, it's PL), boxing, KSW and MMA; the schedule of what sports events they'll be transmitting each week is kept up-to-date on their website, and if there's a match you need to watch, call them up and make a reservation. All that said, we can't oversell how good the food is - a mix of American barbecue and burgers, plus Polish steaks, goulash and golanka (traditional pork knuckle, try it!). In terms of beer, the national Okocim lager should serve you well, but they also have Guinness, Brooklyn EIPA and Grimbergen Blonde on draught, plus a full bar for mixers, cocktails, wine and more. All told it's more than anyone deserves to expect from a modern sports pub, and a darn good choice.
