The Warsaw Gallery Weekend is an annual artistic event that had its premiere in 2011 as the Where is Art Festival. The festival is modeled on the Gallery Weekend Berlin, which showcases works by both new and established artists during the weekend in April. Just like the Berlin festival, the Warsaw Gallery Festival attracts hundreds of art lovers and collectors, as well as people new to the Warsaw art scene. For the three days in September, the participating Warsaw galleries open their doors to visitors. The list of collaborating well-known galleries, as well as many new, experimental galleries, is extensive, but let's name a few: Asymmetry Gallery, BWA Warsaw, Dawid Radziszewski Gallery, Modern Art Gallery ESTA, Gallery Foksal Foundation, Gallery m², Gallery LeGuern, LETO, Magnetic Fields Gallery, Olszewski Gallery, Propaganda Gallery, Rodriquez Gallery, and many others. It is the artistic experience like no other, and the perfect opportunity to become familiar with the hottest art trends!
